How it Works

Hydroponic Power

Hydroponics is an alternative farming method that grows plants without the use of soil. Instead, plants’ roots are submerged in nutrient-rich water that provides the plants with all the nourishment they need. The Greenery™ S is a hydroponic container farm that allows you to grow fresh food anywhere in the world, all year long.

Container Farming

Container farming is a method of indoor, small-space farming. Container farms have many unique advantages over other types of indoor farming (like greenhouses and warehouses). The primary advantage is the small-space design, which allows people to grow food without needing access to large amounts of land. This makes it an ideal format for urban spaces where square footage is at a premium. The containers are climate controlled and use indoor growing lights to replicate the sun. The Greenery S is the most advanced vertical farming container currently available. It is able to produce up to 2.5 acres’ worth of nutritionally-dense food.

Controlled Environment

The Greenery S allows Cardona Farms to grow food regardless of weather by creating and protecting the perfect growing environment inside the farm’s four walls. The innovative system automatically senses and adapts the farm’s temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels to grow food 365 days a year.

Greenery S Dynamic Lighting System combines superior LED bulbs with full LED power and color control to truly power plant production.

Cardona Farms is capable of growing lettuces, leafy greens, herbs, brassicas, certain root vegetables, microgreens, edible flowers, and many other artisanal crops, regardless of exterior climate.

Cardona Farms is an environmentally ethical start-up farming business, with a goal to deliver fresh, hyper-local produce to restaurants and communities.
